We are actively engaged in fulfilling the great commission (Matthew 28:19) because we believe that fulfilling and fruitful life as purposed by God only springs out of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus said: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you? (Matthew 28:19-20) “We dream of being a true community of people who are committed to loving and serving God and other people, and to becoming wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ.
Mark 16:16-19 whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” First century Christians lived the answer to this question. In daily life, lay people prayed with each other for healing because they took seriously Christ’s commission to heal the sick. They believed in a God whose love has the power to heal physical, emotional and spiritual wounds. The prayers of early Christians showed that they understood what Jesus meant when he said, “I have come in order that you might have life–life in all its fullness.” (John 10:10).
